The hotel was very convenient and spacious; also the location is superb, being close to shopping, very interesting district of the city; close to museums, historical places, and the Victoria Concert Hall where I was every evening. The buffet breakfast was very excellent too, and the Sky Lounge was a great place.
The room was spacious and very comfortable; only the bathtub/shower combo is a little difficult for elderly people; climbing over the tub. Perhaps there are rooms with a walk in shower.

I chose the hotel for location and price. City Hall mrt, Raffles City only a couple of mins walk. Handy to everything and bed was very comfortable. The staff member that checked me in was a trainee. She was very pleasant and capable.
I know that the hotel is old and even though it has undergone a refurbishment, my room was quite small and the tv and in room safe didn't work. It didn't really worry me though as I was out most of the time.

Nice hotel on nice location. Not the most luxurious one, but it just more than enough. Big safety box, nice room layout, LCD TV, etc.
Internet is quite slow, can\'t send email (probably SMTP blocked).

Friendliness & professionalism of the staff.
I thought the hotel restaurant could have had a wider choice on both food & wine the menu. But we had a good meal nonetheless.
