The Gables was a delightful place to stay. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed the breakfast and the afternoon wine and cheese party. The food was very good, and we were pleasantly surprised with the cheese, Marcona almonds, and olives. Perfect. I also loved that there were fresh flowers everyday. Such a nice touch for an inn. We would definitely stay at The Gables Inn again and recommend it to friends. Thank you for a lovely stay!

There was complimentary breakfast (really delicious with lots of options!) And cheese and wine. The gentleman also upgraded our room for us once,he found put we were getging married. Best service I have ever had at a hotel. It was quality and I felt as though the staff really cared about our stay. Awesome!

Very accommodating. We had stayed there before unknowingly when we booked this reservation. But recognized it when we checked in. Very happy as we had liked it couple years ago when we stayed.
The guest on the shared patio had his phone on speaker phone while working on his laptop and it was very loud even with the doors closed and drapes drawn. Should not have been allowed. The parking was not enough and probably not legally enough. They should include the parking for the rates that are charged. And rent a parking lot somewhere close to accommodate their guests....

Loved the ambiance and charm. Well equipped & appointed. Good breakfast and a fabulous, walkable location.
We are from South Texas and accustomed to sleeping with air conditioning. But it cooled off and the fan worked great. Parking situation is truly lousy but that's the price you pay for the location.

Always great to stay at the Gables Inn. The staff are very nice and always very helpful. The Inn is walking distance to everything fun in Sausalito. Look forward to our next stay.

It was quiet and comfortable.
On the lower levels the windows open to the ground level at the sidewalk. If it's warm (rarely), you would love the windows open....but, not secure.

We werden begroet bij aankomst voordat we zelfs opgenomen ontvangst door een zeer behulpzame man beambte die het meest nuttig. De kamer was mooi met een prachtig uitzicht over de baai. Een heerlijk continentaal ontbijt was voorzien - fruit, yoghurt, cornflakes, gebak, enz.
De enige kibbelen ik had was de kerstverlichting buiten onze slaapkamer (die blijkbaar toebehoorde aan het bedrijf naast de deur) verstoorde mijn slaap. De houten lamellen zijn niet voldoende om het licht buiten te houden. Of misschien de kerstlichtjes zou kunnen worden uitgeschakeld op een redelijk uur!
