Location close to restaurants and shops as well as the locks.

The above-bed lighting was not plugged in when we arrived and we spent several minutes searching for receptacles behind the beds.

The location and the view

We felt the hotel was a little tired and need some updating. Carpet, furniture, lamps and painted just needs to be freshened. I would like to stay there again after this work is completed.

Room was nice. Food was good. Location is great. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Stairs and hallways need new carpet and wall and ceiling work. But it's a grand hotel and a nice place to stay

The view was great. Old memories, as I lived in the Soo and went to the Ojibway every Fri. for the fish dinners. I also have Pat Nortons pic. of the hotel at Christmas.

Food was so so. Nice staff but slow service for not being busy. The Check in staff was very non professional and not promoting the Soo or the Locks. No wonder the Soo has gone down hill while all the towns around are booming.

Unusual due to age and quality which was in the main good to very good. Staff were mainly friendly. Very odd way of handling complimentary breakfast it was good but appeared to be a ruse to get people to order off the menu card which was good but a little pricey. It just made one feel a little uncomfortable. The hotel is however almost classy and would highly recommend it. It was the third time I have stayed other.

Heating was effective but slow to adjust. The way the complimentary breakfast was handled could have been a little less cheap.
