Quality Inn Sarnia

We were greeted immediately when we arrived. We were surprising family we hadn't seen in many years and arrived around noon hoping to just pay for our room (knowing we would get back quite late) and we were allowed to check in and given our room key at that time. Lunch on the premises was awesome as we didn't have to find our way around and allowed us to keep to our schedule!

Your reception staff went over and above. I apologize, I do not remember the name of the gal at reception on the morning of Tuesday, June 25, 2013, but when I asked her about our destination in Michigan, she printed us directions. The directions I had from home were confusing so the ones she gave us were very helpful. We were attending a funeral and she explained that there is a bereavement rate so we should mention it should the occasion arise again.

We were disappointed in the parking. We also missed having an elevator, because we are old, and carrying luggage is difficult, especially up steps. However, your staff was very helpful. The young man at the desk said he would carry it for us, and specified he would not accept a tip. Nice. The rest of the staff was also great, always going out of their way to be helpful. We were on our way to Montreal by train, but would have liked to have been closer to the waterfront, just for sightseeing. Though we had a car, we wanted to get back early enough to get a parking spot in front, since the other lot was too far for us to carry luggage. Consequently, we stayed in and just lounged around rather than see Sarnia.
