Loved the staff, location.

The room was barely adequate. It was very small and stuffy and the bath did not have a fan of any kind.

It was very convienent for us for the weekend activities in town. Just wish it had more air conditioning for some of the family. Bathrooms are very small but it's not a problem

The location and atmosphere of this hotel is wonderful. The pricing is reasonable as well.

This was my second stay. This room was not as good as my first stay. Orignally, I was in the newer wing across the driveway from the lobby. Excellent room. This room was on the second floor of the main wing. It was noisy, the air conditioning was weak and the bed was very lumpy. It felt like an old matress. Not up to par. The desk staff was not friendly on check in either.

Main reason for choosing Montecito Inn: Reputation

It was a throwback to the old days. The front desk employees were so polite and helpful, valet were fast and on the ball without holding a hand out expecting cash, they even loaded my truck with beach cruiser bikes for me at 6:00 in the morning. The aura of the place was amazing, great little bar, and the rooms were cozy and comfortable. I was so pleased with the Montecito Inn upon leaving. So nice to get away from the big chain so called resorts and into a calming relaxing place.
