The room was very functional, clean and quite large. Nicely decorated too (modern style). The room was quiet. The location was great for my needs, but people should know it is relatively far from most touristy areas. There are several facilities, but I did not get to use them due to my work schedule so cannot comment. I did enjoy my stay but would not recommend it whole heartedly due to the reasons below.
Presumably this hotel also wishes to cater for international travellers. However, all the television channels and all the newspapers were either in Spanish or Basque. Some of the staff spoke some English though. It was nice to have WiFi in the room; however, it did not work half of the time which was really frustrating as I had work to do (it did work from the lobby though). Parking was VERY expensive and I was not expecting to have to pay around 40 euros for leaving my car in the hotel car park. I have never experienced this in any other hotel before. The bar food was correct, but quite bland and not too exciting (I did not try the main breakfast). The staff were good, but not particularly welcoming (i.e., no hello, goodbye, did you enjoy your stay, let us know how we can help, all things you might expect from a hotel of this category/price).
