General atmosphere and look of the Madonna Inn is fantastic

Food took way too long to come after ordering (1 1/2hr) and my steak was cooked wrong, even though it wasn't that busy. It was disappointing but they took care of the issue.

The themed rooms are fun. The soap cakes were cute touch.

There are some facilities that are nice and then others that are not at all. For example, the pool area is cute with the colored seats, but the lounge chairs are horrible, in really bad condition. Chaise lounges are not expensive so why not buy new ones? We were in room 200 which is ok, but needs rugs. The couch though is horrible and in poor condition. Why not replace it with another themed piece? Your facility is just not consistent with some cute things and other outdated or bad condition things. For the price, you could identify those things that need replacing and do it.

The Madonna Inn was one of the highlights of our trip. Our expectations weren't very high, but a lot of friends had recommended it so we stayed for a night while driving to LA. It was magical from the moment we drove in. Pink tennis courts, beautiful grounds, a ranch with horses, a lovely pool area. The design and decor of all the rooms was breathtaking from the rose-themed restaurant (great food!) to our lovely, retro "short and tall" room. Every room is different so everyone's experience will be different as well, but you definitely won't regret staying at the Madonna Inn.
