The Clift was located perfectly for what we wanted to do for the weekend. The hotel was pleasantly decorated, clean and quiet. The room was adequate, with a very comfortable bed. All around pleasant experience and would consider staying there again.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Our party had reserved a table in the corner of the bar to celebrate a birthday on the evening of the 22nd. That night there was also a very large event in the bar/dining room area. The staff kept their cool and were quite accommodating in spite of the number of people. It was actually quite impressive.

Doorman coverage was very erratic. Sometimes there were 3 guys hanging around but most of the time there was no one attending the door. Also, internet service charge is way too high for such a luxury property, and to charge for each device in the same room is insane.

The bed and sheets were great and bathroom towels also very lovely.
The shower was a bit of a nuisance.

Up to date decor and a unique atmosphere differentiating the hotel from the other chains. Excellent restaurant, room service, concierge and bell hop staff. Front desk staff variable. Small bathroom with inadequate lighting for females for make up and hair do purposes. Hotel chosen because of Yahoo employee connection.
