Main reason for choosing Inn at Golden Gate: Rate
The location was great, and the room was comfortable and clean. I loved the fact that the continental breakfast included fresh pastries, they were very tasty!
I couldn't unplug or cover the light from the hair dryer. I like total dark when sleeping, and while it was easy to put a washcloth over the clock to block that light, the hair dryer was wired into the wall. This is a very minor thing.

Main reason for choosing Inn at Golden Gate: Location
The Hotel was close to tons of restaurants, the Presidio, and miles of trails for our morning run. It was very clean and we even had a parking spot, which is sometimes an issue with hotels in SF. But what really impressed me was the staff. All were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. When my IPad got locked in the in-room safe (which would not open), they called in their maintenance guy on a Sunday and had it back in my hands within a couple of hours. Well done!!! THANK YOU STAFF!!
