I love that it is BEFORE all the back-up in traffic of San Antonio. I love the hospitality of the NEW owners, as much as I did the previous owners. The rooms are plenty large enough for one person.

I would have loved a downstairs room, but am perfectly capable of climbing. The stairs ARE a little steep!

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We asked directions on many of our day trips and they were extremely knowledgeable. Very clean and we were asked on different occasions if we needed anything at all. They even asked if we needed coffee in our room or if we were running short of any necessities. Very caring and pleasant, they would take time and talk with us just like they knew us for years. Wonderful experience. I would go back and stay without any problem at all. I can't say enough about how wonderful these people were.

The staff was super-friendly! Room was super clean. Premises - could eat off the sidewalk. Washer/dryer was convenient. The property was located next to a very busy thruway and a busy 3 lane road and I could not hear a thing inside my room. Pool was super clean and there were amenities close by within walking distance. The rate was incredible for such a clean, updated, friendly place. A+

The continental breakfast was very convenient and serving hours were very convenient. Typical of a continental breakfast with fresh waffles designed griddle shaped like the State of Texas, cereal, biscuits (too dry/hard), but no meat except if you count the tiny pieces of sausage (?) in the serving gravy. I hate gravy. They also had muffins, fruit, eggs, bagels, english muffins, coffe, tea, hot chocolate, juices - the usual. Personally, I don't like that sort of breakfast, with the exception of the waffles which were fresh. Would have liked to have a peice of meat, an egg and biscuit to make a breakfast sandwich. But in the long run I'd have preferred lower rates before having a breakfast that suits me so if this was the case, so be it.
