The clerk was very helpful. When I booked I was told there wasn't a handicapped room available. But when the clerk saw me she asked if I wouldn't prefer a handicapped room. I told her "yes" so we got one.

When I first arrived the manager was not friendly nor accommodating with my request for a late check out. (I was in town for the marathon.) However, the next morning she was very nice to let me into the breakfast area to get coffee before 6am. She also let me have a late check out without charging me. I appreciate the turn around and chalked up my arrival experience to a bad moment that could happen to anyone. The facilities were very clean, safe and quiet.
Unfortunately, though the TV was a nice lcd hanging on the wall, it was an off brand and all ready showing its wear. The image on the screen was distorted as it hit the outer edges - making people's heads elongated (alien looking!) Not a major problem for me since I did not spend a lot of time watching TV but it was a distraction and too bad for the hotel owner who purchased the inferior brand.

I was disappointed with the breakfast that was provided. Such a limited array, and the eating area was not clean. Coffee was weak, fruit was not very fresh looking.
