Holiday Inn Salem, an IHG Hotel

Everything was excellent!!! Except the restaurant service!

Your restaurant service was very slow!!! I was seated almost immediately and noticed almost all other customers had been served. It took nearly 10 minutes to order, 30 minutes to get served and my breakfast was not very warm. Must of been sitting aside for the waitress to pickup and serve. When finished it took another 10 plus minutes to get the waitress's attention so I could pay my bill and leave. I had to flag her down and point to my watch because I had an appointment to get to on time. Earlier this year my wife and I stayed at your Vancouver hotel and service was the same plus a very rude wait staff! I highly suggest that the powers-to-be take a good look at this poor managed service.

Air Conditioner was very noisy

The staff! We had to change our room the first night we were there, it was situated right over the vents for the restaurant and with my health issues it was very uncomfortable. The night front desk attendant was VERY helpful when I called at 4am to ask for a room change! We were in a new room within 20 minutes and slept very well after that.All the staff were friendly helpful and they smiled! A little thing I know but it's nice to see.

Service was friendly..I would stay there again in heart beat.

Had a spider crawling up my arm 15 minutes after I sat on the bed.

The bartender was awesome...very friendly and helpful~

The bed was comfortable with warm blankets, the room was quiet, the heat was easy to adjust.

The next morning the table top that the tv was on, and the desk top was crawling with hunderds of tiny black ants...that were in all my items on those two table tops. Also some of the tiny ants were around the sink.

As a disabled woman, I appreciate folks who go out of their way to help me.

The desk clerk had a really good attitude. laughed and made jokes while checking us in..

The lay out of the hall was confusing.. we had room 230 and it was really hard to find the room number. we had to walk down the hall and look back to see the room number.
