Delta King Hotel

Everything! Everybody that worked on the Delta King,was very helpful,and so informative.

Wonderful location. Dinner outside on the deck overlooking the river; breakfast inside with a view of the river, including a sea lion hunting salmon. Food (dinner and breakfast was good. Perfect location in the middle of old Sacto. Room was perfectly fine especially considering it was converted from an old time paddlesteamer.

Several pieces of cutlery/ crockery were dirty. The dishwasher is getting old- fix that and this place would be a "must stay".

Location was great, breakfast staff were great, loved the ease of the valet service, fun being on the water. good value for price

The room really slanted and that was disconcerting, would have loved deck chairs outside to enjoy the decks more, noise level got loud on weekend.

We were very pleased with the overall experience. It was fun to be right on the river enjoying the accommodations of a true river paddleboat. Staff was very friendly. The rooms were very clean, and contained all of your basic ammenities. Our only complaint was the mattress was very hard. The big bonus was the free breakfast provided with the room. This wasn't a cereal and muffin buffet. It was a true sit down breakfast in the ship's Dining Room.

It was unique setting and was relatively close to the wedding we were attending.

Bed and pillows very nice and comfy.

Bathroom was unclean: The copper pipes from the toilet to tank were streaked with stains, wood part was dusty dirty with old dirt.

Check in and out was easy and friendly. It would be nice to include a happy hour or a free drink for guests.

The waitstaff for our breakfast seemed stressed and unhappy with her job. It may have been understaffed at the time we arrived, but the dining area was less than half full.

We felt like the staff did all they can with what they had to work with. Nothing real special though!.

Yes the beds where extremely uncomfortable, There was no extra seating in the room, so the only place to set was on the bed! the remote only control the cable bow and you had to get up to turn on the TV and to control the volume. There was a big wet spot on the floor and when we reported it, it did not seem to concern the staff to much! we also noticed that some of the rooms had blind as well as curtains, our room had no curtains, which made us feel as we had no privacy. the Valet had a lot to be desired, when we checked out the front desk said they order our car to be brought up front, we ended up waiting for a half an hour before our car was brought to us. I would not recommend this place for anyone of my friends or family to stay at!.
