I've stayed in a lot of 5-star hotels, around the world. I can honestly say that the service on arrival at Ibis was as good as I've had anywhere. Well done. I was a little apprehensive, booking "blind", that we end up in the sort of hotel you find on the outskirts of any French town. But this was ideal for our needs - a short walk to the medival town, and a slighly longer walk downhill to the railway station. We didn't arrive by car, but they have on-site parking if you need it.
Our room was a bit small, but that was no problem
