Hotel Du Vieux Quebec

The location was simply perfect for us. The staff were extremely helpful, pleasant and friendly. I loved that the hotel was eco friendly. The room was amazingly comfortable and felt like we were in our own apartment or chalet rather than a hotel room. I loved receiving the morning picnic basket breakfast filled with all kinds off goodies. The pastries and croissants and jams were exceptional. We used the lounge a lot and enjoyed the fruit infused water, coffee machine, games and snacks provided in the lounge. The restaurant in the hotel served amazing farm to table food with unique concoctions and beverages. Their poutine was the best. The price was very affordable. And it was very convenient to have parking just steps away. Everything was within walking distance from the hotel. The cleanliness was spectacular. Overall, I would love to come back and stay at this hotel again. It was the perfect fit for my needs and personality.

We always stay at Hotel Du Vieux Quebec when we visit Quebec City, we love old Quebec city, to walk around, great food, and safe.

Reserved on line, turned out a third party, missed out on the AM croissants. next time we will book direct.

The rooms are lovely; the staff was super friendly and helpful; the location is great. When you book directly through the hotel you get an adorable and delicious continental breakfast.

Absolutely nothing.

The location was fabulous and the 24 hour coffee and fruit was very nice. The building itself has an interesting history, which was interesting to read about. Also we liked that the hotel is very environmentally aware, with on site composting and a garden in addition to the usual recycling.

Due to city construction we had confusion in finding the hotel and Justin the owner and his staff could not have been more helpful in bringing us in and getting us settled. We were flustered and their graciousness and professionalism made our visit amazing. The hotel is very beautifully restored and well kept. The location is the best in the city with everything within a comfortable walking distance. I would love to visit Quebec City again and would definitely recommend Hotel Du Vieux. Very very nice!

Location within the walls of Old Quebec could not have been any better. Rue St Jean has all the amenities needed within walking distance.

Loved our stay at Hotel Du Vieux, have stayed once before with girlfriends and this time brought my husband and another couple along. Price is affordable and location is great. Very nice.
