Main reason for choosing Hotel Port Royal: Location
The location in old Quebec City was excellent. Access to the fun things; on the waterfront, a short walk to a good museum, restaurants, and shops. The breakfasts were also very good. It was also very easy to find. The staff was exceptional.

Very convenient location. Comfortable beds. Comfortable and roomy suites.
I was traveling with three other couples.... Their air conditioners did not work the entire time even after maintenance took a look at it. All three rooms!

Service in the Pub for an evening meal, was very slow, The Pub was not busy we waited for about 20 minutes to get drinks an menu's .There were six of us.We all order some kind of a meal. When the orders came one had not even been placed. My husband and I order two Bbq Beef Sandwiches and they had no beef on them. they had to be sent back.
we asked for a cab to be call for 5:30 am. On the day we were leaving. It had not been called. Luckly We doubled check and found out. It had not be written down. It is a very nice hotel, but, some of the help needs training.

The staff are fabulous at this hotel. Just ask the front desk personal and they arrange it . The use of the computer in the lobby is great to print your boarding passes for your flights and the staff arranged the cab service for us.
The pull out couches need replacing.

Very convenient location, able to walk to cruise pier. Rooms were very nice and comfortable. We had lots of room . Staff was very nice and helpful.
