It was very nice and the location was just right. Adjacent to Rte. 1 and the seacoast area. Also the staff especially the young lady who greeted us was well informed and when she saw us the next morning she remembered why we were there and asked about our experience with our recreation event.
When I booked the room I did it through the internet. I didn't ask about a possible discount off with AARP, AAA or whatever. So I called and a young man said that when I check in I could ask for a discount etc. When I checked in I was told because I went through the site they couldn't give me a discount. Why if one person said on the phone, yes, but it wasn't true. I would like everyone to be on the same sheet of music.

Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.
Good continental breakfast.
computer w/internet access and printer.
Steep, unexpected (especially after dark) step down from room to sidewalk. My daughter fell flat on her and suffered slight sprains and scrapes.

The convenience to shopping areas, cleanliness, beds are extremely comfortable, cannot hear the highway activity inside the room, staff was pleasant and helpful as usual, price was definitely in my budget. This is my 3rd stay at the Port Inn. I will definitely return again.

The room and bathroom are decorated beautifully. The room is spotless. Nice bed linens on the lower level.
Only that the wall to wall carpeting is old and starting to smell.
