Bed, linens and blankets were heavenly - cosseted with heavyiness and tucked in at the feet to keep them extra warm. Perfect!
Nit-pick: used the hair dryer and found a fair amount of lint on the intake vent. Not only icky, but fire hazard if it cuts off air to motor which overheats. Not good.

This was our first time staying in downtown Portland, and we were pleased with the location of the Sentinel.
It's nothing that the hotel could help, but the noise from the Trimet trains (which ran up until midnight, and started up first thing in the morning. It sounded as if those electric-run buses were right outside our room.
