Main reason for choosing Hotel deLuxe: Other
It was quiet. It's a nice old building. The lounge was nice and the bar food was good.
It was overpriced. It's in a mediocre neighborhood. Avoid breakfast...I asked to substitute hash browns for the potatoes mentioned in the menu (hash browns were mentioned with another breakfast item), but was told that was not possible, The hash browns were pre packaged with just the one item.

We particularlily enjoy the ambience and decor of this beautiful old hotel. It has a wonderfully comfortable atmosphere and breakfast in the restaurant was truly enjoyable. All of the staff from the doorman to the reception desk including the restaurant people were cheerful and friendly. I like the location of this hotel, easy to get to and easy parking whether you self park or valet
park ( the valet person was especially pleasant and helpful )

I was impressed with the staff at the front desk who went the extra mile to accommidate my need for an additional night . All staff were extremely helpful and respected me at as a guest. From the valet to the housekeeping staff, all were terrific. I would highly recommend this hotel.

It has a great atmosphere.
If there were events in the banquet hall, I liked the creative way to announce the different events but should be clear for those that are not attending as well.
