Crowne Plaza Plymouth, an IHG Hotel

It was very relaxing

Having to pay for car parking which was not mentioned when booking.The hotel was being reception area was being redecorated -again this was not mentioned when booking.

Restaurant views and food brilliant, view from room sea view that is brill.

Not really all in all very pleasant.

Location Everything juat a 10min walk Town barbican beach.Have stayed here 4 times and love it Hotel is Exelent.And will be coming again.

Food exc, views to sit and stare all day. Room spacious and well equipped tea/coffee ample more than I have seen in any hotel before.

Not really, I would like to say as a smoker it does not do the hotel justice to see people loitering at the lobby, smokers today are victimised, room at rear would be beneficial and cigarette end being left for all to see, not a pleasant sight for none smokers. Come on get with the 21st century , Sir Walter Raleigh or Sir Frances Drake introduced tobacco to this country.Plymothian's.

1- The location of the hotel at the hoe and close to the town. 2- The friendly Staff. 3- The fast service; House keeping requests and the Room service.

1- Cleanliness of the room as the table was noticed not to be cleaned after we had the dinner. Noticed by us after we came back next day.

We liked the fact that there was a swimming pool for the children to enjoy whilst Grandma took a rest. The staff were friendly and helpful on the whole. We like the fact that there was tea and coffee in the room and a working TV. The room was always clean and tidy by the time we came back. We enjoyed our experience there.

We wanted something light to eat but found ourselves with not much choice at 9 pm. We opted for a pizza but I thought it was expensive and we had to wait some time when I was already tired. It would have been appreciated if there had been a special late night supper menu to choose from to eat in the room. Omelettes, soup, chips, something warm but light and not too expensive. A second thing we thought a newsletter with a crossword or word search to entertain the children as we didn't want to watch TV. This was not a great issue but it would have enhanced our stay as we are not drinkers to go to the bar. Sitting and talking over our day and what we enjoyed is so much nicer relaxing in our room. These were not really basis for complaint but would have made the hotel an even better experience than it was. Thank you for it.

Good Location and generous size rooms

I was amazed that in 2013 this hotel had no free wifi even in public areas The charges for paid wifi access were too expensive

Very helpfull staff, great facilities and a 10 min walk (with kids) to the main shopping center.

Extreamly tight indoor parking area! If you in anything bigger than a 3 series your going to have problems!

The staff were friendly

Stairwells were awful,really dark and unwelcoming. The bathroom was in very bad order, hand rail was coming off the wall, floor level ledges dirty and black marks all over sealant. Although the hotel was under going refurbishment no mention was made about lack of carpet on stairs and the price didn't reflect this.
