The staff was very friendly and I liked the renovations that were done since the last time I visited. The bed was very nice and so was the shower. I enjoy the bar area, the outdoor bar and the beach service. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Newly remodeled -very clean.
They have one problem. After waiting 5 minutes for hot water in the shower, I called the desk and was informed that the control was installed backwards.

Was not aware that motel was being remodeled at the time we were there lots of construction noise at times, some water issues but overall we were on a completed floor and stay turned out fine. Thanks

The staff at the desk and in the restaurant was outstanding. The Clam Digger is showing its age, but there is remodeling going on. A beautiful new wood floor was being installed in the lobby while we were there. The bath is quite small but the room and bath were clean and properly equipped. I think the price was a bit high for off season, but I will stay there again.

The Clam Digger is excellently located right on the beach, and every room has an ocean view with a balcony. The rooms are not extravagant, but excellent value with quite comfortable beds. A small microwave and refrigerator allow some self sufficiency. The staff is friendly. This was a return visit for me, and was as enjoyable as ever.
