Peterborough Inn & Suites Hotel

I stay at this hotel because of it's location as it is withing easy walking distance of my sister's home. Also, I like the continental breakfast - while not extensive it is all I require.

This hotel is greatly in need of renovations. The furniture in my room was very tired looking. The heating was hard to control resulting in too warm a room at night, plus there was a portable air conditioner (???) I think, that made a whistling noise all night.

The loudness of the heating system, made it hard to fall asleep.

The location with respect to restaurants and such. No need to take the vehicle. There was a fridge and bar sink in the room which was convenient.

There was no valet working and the parking lot is a block and a half away so as a single female travelling not very safe. My room was at the front of the hotel (street side) and there must be a night club next door because in the middle of the night there were a bunch of drunk yahoos. The air conditioning was very noisy so had to turn it off to sleep and it was hot. The drapes were half falling off the rail so did not close properly. There is a coffee maker in the room but the coffee cups were unwashed and a used coffee filter still in the maker. If I would have noticed this before morning I would have changed rooms (I wonder did I have clean sheets??).
