Main reason for choosing U Khao Yai: Location
The U Khao Yai is a very nice, lovely hotel. The king bed was great, room was very comfortable. The towels are big enough for a blanket, and thick! Many pillows on the bed was a nice touch. The room had a view of the lake and mountains, so that was perfect. The people were exceptional and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was ok. We had the trout and steamed vegetables for dinner, and it was wonderful, though a bit salty.
No cabinet for folded clothes in the room. Very strange. Ive never seen a hotel all over the world without a dresser with drawers for folded clothes. Our first morning had very little warm water, mostly cool. That evening and the next day the water was much better, warmer. Some of the breakfast items were cold, and I wanted coffee, I had to go hunt down the servers. No coffee pot available to refill on your own.
