Zachari Dunes on Mandalay Beach, Curio Collection by Hilton

We loved it. However, the parking was a little steep.

That we could spend the 1st half of the day at the beach and the 2nd half at the pool. We liked that we didn't have to drive anywhere else for our entertainment.

Yes, when I checked in at 2:50 pm I was told that our room wasn't ready and that check-in was at 4:00 pm. I called the week before and was told by the staff that check-in was at 3:00 pm. We were not able to check-in to our room until 5:30 pm. This was extremely troublesome to my husband and I. Other then that are stay was very nice.

I was so glad the weather was great. Able to walk along the beach. Enjoyed happy hour.

I left 2 glasses in the room. I called when I got home and requested them to mail to me. I gave a description of the glasses. I have not heard anything back

*loved our stay. Everything provided with style and good service. Loved access to beach, view, perfect.

Couch bed needed new mattress. Less comfortable than other Embassy Suites I've used. But over all give them a 10. Lovely visit.

Lots of areas need a facelift.

The location

We paid for an Ocean front and we did not get it, our fridge was not working, no ice in Ice Makers in the hall, Food was bad Service was even worse, Sofa Bed was terrible, room service took forever My sister and brother in-law had the same problem with there room , they also ordered Champagne for there anniversary and it was delivered warm with no glasses...really! no appetizers were left when we arrived for happy hour so we tried to order some from the server and she was to busy. We told everybody at the Wedding we were attending while we were there not to stay at Embassy Suites. Management is bad. After going back and forth with the front desk manager I did only get an hour and 45 min on late check out for the problems we had. Great location so sad that the hotel is so bad.

Embassy Mandalay Beach is my favorite destination of all time. I love the fact that it sits right on the beach which is my wife's and I favorite thing . We love hearing the waves crashing on the beach and feeling the ocean breeze cut through the open window of our room. We have spent many extended weekends in the last 11 years and we can't wait to get back there as soon as it is possible. The room has been remodeled since the last time we stayed and it looks and works out better than before. Great Job Embassy Mandalay Beach...Great room...Fun stay....

I know it takes time, but maybe the Surf room where we had our breakfast can be upgraded and remodeled.
