The free breakfast was awesome. Eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, coffee everything you might want for breakfast. It’s an older hotel but very clean Staff was very friendly The hotel was very near many great restaurants and very close to many other activities. The beach was so wonderful just steps from the hotel.
The water in the shower was not very hot.

We arrived earlier then the check-in time due to a wedding that we needed to attend at the same time of the check-in. After we explained our dilemma the rep gave us the choice of checking in then and get the room later that night when we returned or she could give us another room now that was ready. The difference was the original room was an ocean view room and the other room was not. Needless to say we chose the room without the ocean view. Was a bit disappointed, but we were able to get ready, get to the wedding and had a great time.
We returned to the hotel around 10:00 pm and the was no available parking. Had to go inside to find out where could we park. We were told to park along side the building in a no parking zone. We were concern we might get towed, but everything was good the following morning.

They have a great breakfast. The beds are comfortable. The view is terrific and the staff is very pleasant and accommodating!

Nice ocean view room at a great price. Staff was wonderful. Great pool and access to beach. Great location and access to restaurants and shopping. Loved Castillo Del Sol. Definitely high on my list when planning for a beach place.
