The helpfulness of the staff at all times. The breakfasts were super.
Yes, we did not like the fact that the wall lights by the bed, did not work independently. Quite awful as I wanted to read when I woke early but could not. Yes, I did not the table lamp on my husband's side of the bed, but could not move it as there was not a socket my side.

We found that the girls at the counter were somewhat abrupt - not as welcoming as they should have been. Otherwise the hotel was reasonable and good value for money

The room and food were brilliant.
Yes, we were disappointed with the embarrassment at the reception on arrival.
We ordered on the internet double room with double bed. On arrival we were allocated two single beds in the room.
Secondly we were refused b/fast be actually asked for because according to them we did not ask for b/fast when the order was made. We actually asked for B/Fast to be included

I ejoyed my stay at the hotel immensely, especially as some of my family stayed there too and we all had breakfast together the next morning before going our separate.
The only thing I can complain about is that I ordered a taxi to go to Dunston Hall and he charged me £10. On the return journey there were five of us in a black taxi and the charge was only £7.40. The taxi ordered for me by the hotel obviously is know to the hotel but the price is higher than London prices. Can you please look into this for me.
