The staff were very accommodating and friendly, complying quickly with every request. The breakfast was varied and tasty. The facilities were adequate - the bed was firm, the air conditioning unit was quiet and efficient, and the area was as quiet as could be expected with the Thruway running nearby.
The runner in the hall was stained by grease spots in several areas and looked like it needed cleaning/replacing. Perhaps a darker fabric would mitigate this, since I know it's subject to heavy traffic. This was more than offset by the positive features of the hotel.

I was very comfortable in my little room with my own terrace!
Little things could be replaced or fixed, like the ceiling fans or some mildew in shower, but overall i have no complaints. i will be there next year.

We knew where it was because we stayed there before. Close to West Point which was the reason for the visit.
We had to switch rooms after the tub would not drain because the non slip mat in the tub had started coming off. While we were given another room right away there was no apology for the inconvience, we had already unpacked and been in the room for a few hours. In the new room there was a ladies night gown hung on the bathroom door. If they missed that...what else didn't get taken care or?

I only liked that it was close to the event I was attending and the waffles were good.
This Hotel is disgustingly dirty! The bathroom had something splattered on the wall and looked like some poop on the floor. It was gross. There were handprints on the wall in the bedroom area. Someone left glow necklaces on the lamps and the housekeeper never bothered to remove them. Bed was hard. Overall not a nice place to stay.

The location, it's close to the airport.
The two guys that worked at the front desk. One promised to have the safe deposit box fixed,it was never done. The other guy on the day of check out when I said good morning he looked at us like we had two heads "if you don't like your job, quit."

Very unhappy about the fact that we had paid for the room and told us that it was not paid! He had returned by mail the invoice to be paid back in a second time!
