DoubleTree by Hilton Newark Penn Station

The room's were spacious, clean and comfortable. The train station was so convenient, it took us about 20 minutes to get to Penn station NYC. There is a great little Italian coffee shop in the attached mall that has amazing breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches togo for the plane ride or a picnic later. The staff at the hotel were very helpful. The drivers coming and going from the airport were so so nice.

Best place to stay for events at Prudential Center

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a minor issue with our hvca unit and someone replaced it immediately. The staff was also helpful in providing directions and suggestions on our travel into the city.

El gimnacio es muy pequeno y si hay mas de 4 personas es incomodo. Tambien hay solo dos maquinas de correr y hay que esperar que se desocupen aunque vayas temprano en la manana.

Location and price compared to New york

If you're flying in late at night and your destination is Manhattan, you're better off spending a night here. It's way nicer than any Manhattan hotel of the same price, and why spend so much more money for a few hours of sleep? In the morning it's SO easy to get into town. Just cross the walkway into Newark Penn Station, hop on the train and within 12 minutes you're at New York Penn Station.

There is nowhere to get food and drink after midnight, which is when we arrived.

It was right across the street from Amtrak Train Station. I had to pay no cab fair.

Oscar, Francisco and Mr. Faison. Oscar picked us up at the airport and then over the next few days guided us and helped us. He is a remarkable asset for the organization.

The room was nice

Customer service was pretty terrible. There is NO sign or indication in anyway of where to park. We drove around the building 3 or 4 times before calling to ask how to get to the parking garage, finally when we called they were no help at all. On the website it says that we can park INSIDE of a parking garage, but all of the spaces inside the garage were either reserved or closed so we had to park outside of it, all that was between our car and the street was a dinky fence. The girl at the front desk took our first parking ticket (which we needed to get out of the parking garage), and told us we only needed the second one that she gave us. This held us up at least a half hour when we were in a hurry to beat the traffic home.
