Check in was quick and easy. Had a great conversation with the staff.
There was a seafood smell on the floor I was on. It did disappear by the morning.

I've stayed there before and liked the convenience and familiarity. I recommended it to a couple who had just moved to the neighborhood and expected that their parents might stay there when they came for visits.
Bathroom needed to be stocked with maybe 1 or 2 more washcloths.

My room was very nice. Wasn't the same room i saw online but it was still nice.
Elevator & my floor was just a little dirty & smelled like cigar & weed.

We stay here often & we're glad to see the elevator finally repaired. The room was comfortable. The room was quiet even though it was very near the elevator.
When we got to the room there was no shower curtain. We reported this at the front desk but when we got back several hours later it was still missing. The woman at the desk remembered us & followed up with house keeping & the problem was solved. The bathroom door had no doorstop so it banged into the wall most of the time.

Loved the location near the 96th/Broadway subway stop, Starbucks, drugstores, Carmine's Italian restaurant, Central Park, Elizabeth's restaurant. Staff was very helpful and kind. Room was adequate; nothing to complain about.
Elevators could have been faster, but at least both were working.
