Main reason for choosing Comfort Suites New Bern near Cherry Point: Location
The room had a pungent smell. There had obviously been some one recently smoking in the room. The staff should not have assigned anyone to that room until it had been cleaned and fumigated. There was also mole around the top of the bath tub. We have stayed at Best Western many times but based on this stay I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. This review shouldn't be a surprise to anyone because we reported it to the staff at check out.

Convenience to airport, room comfort, pool, free taxi to airport.
Not really, one small complaint was that the breakfast food was cold (eggs and bacon even when just set up. but otherwise the rest of the breakfast items were very good. There was a nice selection.
