The hotel very well situated in the heart of Nantes and easy to access from the airport shuttle - literally five minutes away. The hotel staff are very welcoming and helpful. The hotel, old architecturally, has been tastefully updated and very clean. A great place to stay to discover Nantes.
The room was a little small.

The hotel is right in the centre of Nantes.
I indicated that I required a smoking room when I was booking but when I arrived, the receptionist said that this request had not been passed on to them. When I showed her the printed booking confirmation, she begrudgingly changed my room. I found the reception staff aloof and unfriendly.

The location was perfect the staff helpful happy to suggest restaurants and make dinner reservations, confirm taxis etc. This hotel is stylish a little quirky and streamline without feeling it was basic
The noise from revellers making their way up the street during the night - our bedroom window was open!

The quality of rooms, size, equipment, design, class ... the availability and kindness of staff
Arriving by car, without knowledge of the city and without GPS, with only a street map and address, but by night ... I put more than 30 minutes to defeat the one-way streets, etc..
