We were bringing our golden retriever with us so we needed a pet friendly hotel. This was perfect. The area out front for the pets to use was large enough for us to play ball with her so she could get her exercise and had doggie poop bags available along with a place to dispose of them right there. Plus we were right on the beach so she could walk on the beach with us. The rooms were super comfortable and the view of the ocean was a huge plus. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the area to visit our grandson again.
This wasn't really a drawback because we knew ahead of time, but the only improvement we can see being made would be to have a full service restaurant on site. Other than that, this hotel was great!

This was my second stay there and the rooms were cleaner and didn't smell like smoke like the first time I was there.
Also lost my key on the beach and they counter person was very helpful in getting me a replacement.
While it was easy to get a replacement key, I did feel that they should have verified who I was before reprogramming a key. I was not asked, they just reprogram another key to the room number I gave them.

The pet friendly lodging, so we were able to bring our pet along. Friendly and courteous staff, very clean and comfortable rooms. Great location and delicious continental breakfast. Wonderful place to stay while in Nags Head!!!

We had an ocean front room and it was the most gorgeous view I think I have ever had at the beach. The angle of the rooms makes it a spectacular view. Yes, the hotel probably needs some renovations however we had no issues while there. We were there for a wedding at Jeannette's Pier so the location of this hotel was very accommodating. I would definitely stay there again.
