The hotel was not that clean! Old and musty, for the price I expected alittle more! The bathroom sink, the faucet ran and would not shut off. The common areas were a mess the coffee area was terrible and the breakfast room who would want to eat in it! No coffee one day and we were there at 715 am mind you on a weekend and no one cared. I know it was a breakfast continental style but no occomidations for gluten free! Very disappointed!

I enjoyed 80 % of our stay
I was greatly disapointed that when we arrived to find out that the pool was closed..for the 2 days we were there, we had pland our stay there because the on line pictures were very inviting..but the pool wasnt fixed till the day of our departure..

The location to Mystic Aquarium was the ONLY reason I booked that hotel.
1. No elevator.
2. Room smelled like sewerage, and carpet was damp.
3. Guests were very noisy.
4. Room was very outdated (freezer did not work properly), shower was extremely hard to turn on.
5. Ice machines were not workig on second floor.
6. Hotel ceiling panels in hallways were missing or damaged (looked like water damage).

Staff was very friendly and responsive to requests. Location couldn't be better. The room was clean enough.
I know it's hard but the smell of recently tarred parking lot was really overbearing. Maybe it should have been done in April before the season. The screen in out room had a big hole it. The coffee pot wasn't very clean. No elevator was a surprise.

Probably the only thing to like was the location.
There was much. I have already written a letter to Choice Hotels. The inconvenience of the paving, being sent to the second floor with no elevator, the smell of the room, the linens, no phone in the room, the lack of knowledge of the area by the desk staff, the poor quality of the room for the continental breakfast.
