The location in a quiet village with a broad choice of restaurants - pizza to haut cuisine. The views of the chateau from the bedroom window gave a great lift to the feeling of well-being. Oh, and a large warm empty swimming pool, what a delight.

I give the services/facilities a low rating purely on the basis of a limited choice at breakfast. Yes, this is a French hotel, and we've visited plenty, so we don't expect English or German breakfasts, but it could be improved and we'd pay more to upgrade the breakfast choice.
