Beautiful rooms and beautiful bath tube.

Comfortable and well appointed room. Excellent hotel staff. Wonderful breakfast baskets!

The staff, particularly the bellmen, were extremely helpful with directions, very timely in retrieving our car, and went out of their way to make our stay very pleasant. The quality of the rooms was outstanding: the bathroom/bedroom connection with glass and shutters gave privacy when desired or opened-up the space when desired. It was preferable to be in this part of Montreal, not so close to the Old Port area where more tourists seemed to be located, and we were within walking distance to many places we wanted to visit.

The front desk staff were not quite as accommodating as the bellmen, but were still friendly. The public areas were less congenial than the actual rooms: there seemed to be too many design elements fighting for attention in these areas.

L'épaisseur des oreillers !!! j'ai eu de la difficulté à dormir puisque les oreillers sont de très bonne qualité mais vraiment très épaisse à comparer à celles que j'utilise habituellement.

See below. one big problem ruined our stay. they need a manager who actually takes care of customers. the one that was on during our stay was horrendous. and the pool being dirty and broken didn't help. but rooms were nice, rest of staff were courteous, rest of services were ok.

Thank you for checking in. Although the rooms were comfortable and the bath great, the swimming pool was non-functional/dirty the entire time we were there (we learned from facilities that something was wrong with the pump). THe water was dirty and everytime we asked at the desk, we were told it was about to be fixed and to come back later, but our day did not allow this to happen. Finally, after 3 days, we asked to see the manager to have an adjustment made to the bill or some form of compensation. The manager was rude and nasty and specified that because we had booked through expedia she didn't have to do anything or care about our complaint. I believe her name is Rosella. I've never been treated like that before by someone doing customer service. It was unacceptable. It ruined our stay. I booked the hotel because of the pool. We're returning to MOntreal on the 23rd and 24th and have booked into the Intercontinental. Believe me, this treatment was not good for your business or there's (i put a review up on tripadvisor and of course, will never stay there again. in addition, i tried to reach an administrative office number to complain before putting up the review (I felt bad about it -- since the hotel staff, except for the manager, were nice. But even though there are 3 hotels, there is no general number so there was no one to complain to other than the manager of the St. Martin we stayed in and that was definitely not something I was going to do again!) We will certainly use your service again, although i have some concerns about it since we were treated like such 2nd class citizens by the hotel because of the way we booked. thanks again for the inquiry--i'm sure this is more information than you actually wanted! sincerely, carole saltz
