Hotel St André

I've stayed there many times over the years. Always pleasant. They always have a table or desk that I can use for working with my laptop. Free wifi.

Staff are friendly and accommodating. A special shout-out to Margery the banquet and housekeeping supervisor, whose kindness and generosity shown to our group of 6 volunteers meeting on the 7th floor was unexpected, appreciated and heart warming. I love your rooms with their many included-in-the-price ammenedies, with such comfy beds and luxurious bathrooms.

Great gym, but a bit too warm and dumbbells only up to 20lb.

The location was great, and the staff was very nice. Also, the breakfast served to my room was great.

The service was pleasant. As a small budget hotel is very good. We are close to all services that Montreal has to offer, near downtown, metro, taxi, in the Latin Quarter and the arts, shopping (what one does not pay wholesale cost of hotel, you could spend it elsewhere in the city tour). The car stay parked (safely). I had a nice and clean room no35? or 37?. I will try to return to this room the next time I will remain in Montreal for a few days.

Hotel very well located near a metro station. At the junction of the Latin Quarter and near the village of Sainte-Catherine with its restaurants and shops. Parking is free which is a great advantage in Montreal. All tours can be done on foot from this hotel. Comfort is simple but the room is clean with a small refrigerator, the bathroom very well, the towels changed every day even if not required. Breakfast very simple (a fruit juice, tea or coffee, a croissant, a piece of bread + 1 portion of butter, jam and honey) brought to the room at the appointed time. We paid 75 dollars excluding taxes, value for money is very correct. Staff very helpful and good advice.

Nothing negative about the hotel. Some people are fearful or very conventional possibly feel uncomfortable in this area, however there is no security problem. For our part, it does us no problems.
