Main reason for choosing AmericInn by Wyndham Mitchell: Location
The room was really great. All the linen was well-laundered and fresh. The bathroom was well-kept and overall the whole suite was quiet and subdued.
Relaxing in the hot tub for an hour was great. It's one of those dial the bubbles things. I was quite surprised that the indoor pool wasn't heated though - it was too cold to take a dip. I really wish the sauna had been working too.
No one is ever going to be 100% satisfied with a hotel breakfast, but they did well. Fresh fruit, coffee and all the other niceties were provided for at breakfast, so I'd give it the thumbs up.
The only huge issue for me was that the sauna wasn't working the night I stayed. That was really quite disappointing as I was really looking forward to it after an eight hour drive and had specifically booked the hotel because they had a sauna. However, there's not much you can do if it's broken. I do hope they fix it up soon.
