The unique feel of the place, smaller size, very comfortable rooms.
It was fun to stay there.
It would be nice if either the coffee shop or the restuarant/bar upstairs had a little more robust menu.

Very close to TCF stadium, near many shops and restaurants
Need bigger ice buckets!!! Just kidding but they are pretty small.

I like the lounge, the restaurant, the lobby, the Starbucks, the room and staff. Location is awesome.
For the second time in a row the TV's volume could not be adjusted to a reasonably low level at night for digital/HD channels. Analog ones were better. At times I had to use the closed caption -- again, second time in a row. I really like the hotel, the amenities, location, and pricing. Parking rate seems a bit high.

Great hotel, quite. Large rooms with a table in the room to use for office work. Good facilities.

Renovations are excellent,lobby very attractive. Room very comfortable. Staff very,very helpful and pleasant.
I am hadicaped and use a wheelchair. My room was as far away from the elevators as possible!Not good design! Corridors are attractive but carpet plush and thick, very,very hard to wheel on. Staff very accommodating and helped wheel me when they where available. Bathroom good, except mirrors over sink at right angles, go "nuts" if try to look at sink, need to wheel chair to side and use only "one" wall to shave etc.

We came in from Wisconsin and were going to be late. I called in the beginning of the week and spoke with a very nice man who assured me our room would be safe (last year the same thing occurred, and my room was given away, and I was sent to another hotel across town). When we got to the Commons, our two younger kids got to sleep at our oldest daughters dorm, so the wonderful assistant at the desk was able to help us and we were able to change our room to a single upgrade. The renovations are wonderful, staff is great.
