I liked everything. I have always stayed at the Pfister whenever I am overnight in Mileaukee. Been doing that for at least 30 uears.

The absolute beauty and elegance of the lobby especially and overall property more generally.
Nowhere near enough help at the lobby bar made the service below average. Magnificent setting with very marginal service during the Sunday evening that we were there. The club lounge also could have used more wait staff help to replenish food and clear tables. We learned about upgrading to the club lounge accidentally from another guest. It would have been better to have been informed at check in.

Everything....it's always a joy to stay at the Pfister!
Not about the hotel, but there was a 'Holiday Market' in the hotel when we were there. The whole lobby and mezzanine were absolutely packed wall to wall with people. Made it impossible to enjoy the wonderful lobby area.

This was a "memory wish" for my wife on her birthday. She grew up in Milwaukee and always wanted to stay at the Pfister, so I arranged it. She was thrilled with the room and the view and the convenience to everything. She only wished there had been a hot tub with the swimming pool.
Our only complaint was that we were located directly below a wedding party on Saturday night. The party went on loudly until midnight, followed by loud revelers in the hallway until past 2 a.m.
The hotel staff recommended direct booking to avoid such problems in the future.

This is the place to stay in Milwaukee. Service, food, room, cleanness, room service were impecable. Walking distance from many attractions.

The fitness center had nice equipment
Ended up being $400/ night for my stay...which was more than i typically pay for hotels on business trips....perhaps the rate was higher because of summerfest or because trump was staying there the day i checked out.
