Holiday Inn Miami - International Airport, an IHG Hotel

The hotel restaurant buffet was good, but too pricey. For two people it was $54.96,you are better off going across the street, to Pollo Tropical.

I like the cafe in the lobby.

I paid for a king bed suite, but I was given a regular size room with a king bed. the air condition sound like an ice cream maker.

The pool and the restaurant

We did not like the staff person who checked us in. THere was a mistake with the booking and she argued with us and was very rude. She finally worked with us but we were the one's who came up with the solution. I would seriously consider not staying there again because of the rude staff. The shuttle. We used the park n fly shuttle but it took too long to pick us up. We waited over 1 hour and the shuttle was too full to pick up all 9 of us even though we called 3 times and asked for the large shuttle. When it did arrive, 3 of us boarded the shuttle without our luggage so we could get our own cars and pick up the luggage. It added a significant delay to our trip and prevented us from staying at that hotel again that night and possibly ever again.

I booked for the night of 30 to 31 December and charged me the credit card € 54, with the price of the room, on that date, 39 €, such as AI is announced from the same website chain of hotels. The front desk staff were helpful in correcting a double reservation, and the Van driver made a special trip to the airport so we could drop our rental car off the night before.

We drove around the adjacent freeways for at least 45 minutes trying to get to the hotel. One of the elevators failed while we were there. This is an old hotel that should be demolished.
