Holiday Inn Express & Suites Miami, an IHG Hotel

White noise is helpful to many of us to sleep in strange places. Having and A/C sysytem or a fan of some kind that would make light sounds for rooms that want it would be very helpful Also, you need a sign at the street leading to the hotel. It is difficult to see, expecially after dark. Hard to find. On related, a search on Mapquest shows the hotel on Main Street, two miles from where it actually is. I wasted an hour looking for the hotel.

This was a very comfortable hotel- friendly staff - conveniently located off of the turnpike. After a long day in the car it was nice to stay in a comfortable place. Great breakfast was served in the morning.

The hotel was not close to restaraunts for the evening meal. Still highly recommend!

When arriving at Hotel we had requested a first floor room but none were available with two queens. Went to second floor room but bathroom floor was so sticky we requested a move. Were moved to first floor king suite but the ceiling in the bathroom was leaking. So they moved us to a handicap room on the first floor and when taking a shower water ran all over the floor due to a poor design on the curtain. Had to use all towels to clean it up. Said housekeeping was not there so we did it ourselves. We stay at this hotel many times on our way to and from the west. First time we ever had a problem. Will still use this hotel and believe it was a one time incident. Tom Reid.
