I was disappointed that there was not a loaner umbrella for me to get to my car in a heavy rainstorm. Also, I have never been asked my purpose for being "in town." I thought it was no one's business, but I did not want to be refused a room. I had reserved two nights in order to hire the Merced high school superintendent to relocate to Orange County, Ca. I was well dressed and professional in my conversation with the receptionist. The request seemed out of order.

Comfortable accommodation and bed.
The A/C control on the wall. Turning it to OFF, didn't turn it off.
Also I had the plugged up shower head replaced.
