Very close to the convention centre
I was asked to pay extra accommodation fees in the final account even though they had been paid with the eurobooking. However this was corrected quickly when I questioned the anomaly.

Staff were very friendly and pleasant and the room was comfortable.
Because of the hot day the room got a lot of sunshine and was very warm. The staff needed to close the curtains during the day to shade it. there were no opening windows in the room. The fan did help to cool things down fairly fast though

I was there for a concert at the Bridgewater hall so it was a perfect hotel to stay in - just a 2 or 3 minute walk to the venue

The service and attitude of the staff were quite excellent.

The service in the bar opus one. Taking into consideration it was a saturday night and yes the bar was busy but the level of customer service was absoulty shocking. i stood at the bar for 15 minutes without even one member of staff making eye contact or acknowlegdging i was there. it was plenty staffed but every single one was making cocktails. Eventually after 20 minutes a man who was also looking for a drink went out to the reception to complain because despite calling staff etc we were ignored.

The fact that the clothing left by my partner was collected and tagged for us to collect on our next stay in january. Full credit to the lady on room service.
