The location was great. The service area was a nice size to eat or play cards in. The pool area was good size. And we had a great time. Would book again. We come to mackinaw city mi once every year. Its our family meeting spot. The price was a good deal. Loved the fridge in the room nice size and very handy. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
We booked two rooms. The rooms were nice but could be updated or refreshed a bit. Carpet stained looked dirty. Bathroom was very small. But set up of the room was good.

Every thing in this hotel was outdated and worn out. The bath mat in the tub was dark and disgusting. There was no mattress pad cover and they didn't even know what one was. The sheets were so old they were yellowed. Not worth the money.

The price was low, and I was happy that we had a refrigerator. The bed & the room were good. It's nice that you provide a breakfast. The front desk people were very helpful.
It would be nice to have a microwave available for heating up leftovers, either in the room, or at least in the breakfast room. I used the pool (very large and warm)and the hot tub. I was unhappy with the hot tub because we found no way to turn on powerful jets. It was just like a tub of hot water, but I expected a whirlpool or jacuzzi type with jets for massaging the back muscles. The free breakfast should have some protein items, not all carbs, especially for diabetics. We ate some there, then went out to a restaurant.

The room was clean and the ameneties like the pool and the breakfast were within walking distance.
They provided a nice crib for the baby.
We just had one bad experience and that was the second morning that we were there, the attendant providing breakfast was rude and rushed all of us through our breakfast, not to mention, took away the food before we were finished eating.
