Great location, lovely view, good light in the room, friendly staff.
Breakfast selection limited, and we had to be moved to a different hotel due to powercuts. The staff didn't help out enough with logistics, and the new hotel was much worse than Hotel de la Paix, offering none of the good points above, spoiling the end of our stay somewhat.

Very centrally situated midway between Place Bellacour and the Hotel de Ville.
Shops and restaurants on the doorstep but no undue noise at any time of day of day or night.
The manager couldn't have been more helpful.
Our room had no wardrobe, only a clothes rail with four hangers set in an alcove and no chest of drawers. Pretty spartan. However, the manager did acquire a further ten hangers and an additional chair which helped to make the room more acceptable. Notwithstanding these shortcomings, the room (and indeed, the entire hotel) was quiet, clean and comfortable.

The room was perhaps too small and dark. Most, however, bothered the temperature, which was too high. Otherwise, just recommended, especially on behalf of its location

Really central location, friendly welcome, clean rooms, breakfast can be served in the room
I expected more comfort given the rating of 3 stars: the rooms are small, same height mini TV, no mini-bar, risk towards important in some rooms.

My room had three disadvantages: - box spring in poor condition - no blackout curtains (room with two windows looking into lighted street) - smell of stale tobacco
