It was close enough to the Civil War event we were registered
I feel it needs to be updated. Many cracked tiles which hold the dirt.

I like the fitness center. The breakfast was nice. Everything was smooth and accessible. The location of the Super 8 is perfect. The bed was comfy. The service was good and staff was overall friendly.
I'm young but old at heart. However those box TVs have to go. Wifi didn't work the first night of my stay. Bathroom was not clean to my level of clean. Shower was still a little dirty and the bathroom floor was dirty.

Very close to Liberty University, almost on campus if it was any closer. Walking distance to a couple fast food, etc. restaurants.
Room smelled a bit and was freezing when we came in (windows was cracked, probably because of the smell, and it was well below freezing outside). TV remote didn't fully work. Had a room right near the lobby and a group came in somewhere around 2-3 in the morning. They were very noisy until around 3:30 AM and woke us all up; staff didn't tell them to quiet down.

The clean bathroom
Very poor facilities...No padding under carpeting...OLD holy queen comforter on King Size bed...no blankets...hard as a rock bed...very limited/poor offerings for continental breakfast...filthy/torn table top ironing board available only for the asking and had to go get it from downstairs desk...dirty stained and yellowed linens...heard every footstep overhead...desk clerk showed us his resignation because he was tired of getting so many complaints he could do nothing about...SAD :(

The staff was great; they tried hard to make my stay comfortable.
The room was not clean. The refrigerator needed cleaned and defrosted. The phone did not work. The key card did not work to unlock the door most of the time. The mattress was very hard and the sheets were very thin.
