The staff and the facilities are set up to make a guest's stay hassle-free. Marriott Louisville Downtown is definitely one of our favorite hotels.

The staff treated us very well. In particular, Matt Clark provided us with some compensation after providing feedback on the noise level in our room. He took it upon himself to see that we were treated well eventhough we really only wanted to provide the feedback.
Our room unfortunately shared a wall with the gym. Guests using the weight system were not considerate enought to think about the noise level everytime they "banged" the weights. This would begin about 5 am till about 8, then again in the early afternoon until the evening hours. Matt Clark offered to move us to another room, but we had already "settled" into the room and did not want to pack and unpack again. Matt, however did take care of us; Kudos to Matt!

The rooms were pleasant,clean and comfortable but I expectd that for the price we paid for our room.
We were not told where to park and when we pulled into the valet parking and asked about it the valet said we should let him park our car and we proceeded into the hotel not knowing that we just paid $26 for them to move our car to the garage which we could have done ourself if it had been explained to us. My son also stayed at the hotel that night and they parked in the garage and received complimentary parking which was never explained to us.
