Lime Tree Bay Resort

The setting is lovely.

Shelf space limited in bathroom.

It was great! The location, our room, the view. I could go on and on. Lime Tree Bay made my wife's and my stay stress free and anything you want is 20 minutes from either side of the place. Stores, restaurants, and shopping!

The view was incredible. Loved all the hammocks right outside, hottub and pools. Manatee mom & pup came right up to the back of our townhouse. Everything you needed was included. Even gas grills right out on the patio. Beautiful comforting place to stay.

Nothing to dislike

Nice, quaint place... We stayed off of the main Lime Tree resort in the one bedroom condo. It has a huge outdoor porch that runs the length of the unit (probably 40 feet) with a hammock and table/chairs. I spent almost an entire day out there once just enjoying the sea breeze and relaxing. The unit itself was nice, not spectacular, but okay... It had basic cooking utensils and a full kitchen. Bed was comfortable... my high school son slept on the couch (without folding it out). There is a canal out back, so if you bring your boat, you can have it right at the unit. The little ramp there is closed though, so you have to launch somewhere else. I heard they have a deal with a nearby marina where you can park the trailer for a small fee (and I assume launch your boat). The outdoor area at the main resort is really very nice. probably one of the best in the keys. There is a pier, swimming pool, plenty of outdoor sitting areas with tables, chairs, lounges, etc...

Not much restaurant wise in the area. There was one right at the resort, but it was closed... not sure if they plan to reopen it or not. Right now, you have to drive about 10 - 15 miles to find places to eat (either Marathon or Islamorada). There is a little store nearby, so if you are in one of the condos, you can pick some small items. We stayed in the one bedroom off of the main Lime Tree resort (just across the road and down about 1/4 mile). My main complaint was the traffic noise was a little bothersome (mainly loud motorcycles), but it calms down at night.

Loved the beach area, location and people

We had a townhouse and believe they are working on them - ours had a few repairs that needed done, but definitely did not affect our vacations - loved the unit because all had their own bath and the outside areas were wonderful.

The beach area with lounge chairs and hammocks was a perfect place to relax. Our room was absolutely spotless and made very comfortable with rocking chairs on the patio etc.

Coffee and continental breakfast in the morning was held in much too small of an area.

On etait 2 couples ,une chambre aurait été suffisante car la suite avait 2 chambre ce que l'on ne savait pas .j'ai voulu changer ,mais la personne au contoir n'as pas voulu car j'avais reservé 2 chambres séparé. je ne savait pas qu'il y avait des suites a 2 chambres.ce qui nous aurait couté moins cher,et ca vous aurait donné la chance de louer une chambre de plus car l'hotel était pleine(no vacancy).le dejeuner est tres moyen et il n'y a pas de table pour mettre les assiettes quand on se sert.c'est très deplaisant

We have stayed at Lime Tree Bay Resort before and really love the setting outdoors, and the area on the gulf... it's so beautiful! We had bad weather tho and that wasn't as nice, but all in all we loved the stay.. will go again.
