Rooms were recently renovated and clean.
Desk staff was never really that friendly. Lobby area is not very welcoming. 4-5 cop cars were there for an apparent drug bust on our first night.. With outdoor entrances, this incident didn't make is feel very safe.

We did like the decor - looked like a real wood floor (was it bamboo?).
It was $75/night, but we thought $65 would have been about right.

Not much of nothing. The room was clean, but leading up to it was absolutely nasty. The elevators and the walkways looked liked they hadn't been clean in
weeks. If I hadn't already been charged for the room,I definetly would not have stayed there. I didnt complain at the front desk, but they really should correct this problem if they want to continue their business.
They did not have appliances available for use in the room. I had to even ask for a blow dryer. What hotel or motel doesn't keep something like that
on hand?

It was at a great location close to restaurants, shopping, gas, etc.
The room had the strangest heating system that was separate from the cooling system for the room. The room was way too hot and it took hours to get it regulated correctly. Room had a bland and tired look about it.

It was close to our destination, and it was reasonably priced.
Our room was "supposedly" non-smoking yet smelled like an ashtray. I believe since we checked in late that they rushed in our room with the little sign that said, "NO SMOKING ROOM". Our sheets had three, yes three, cigarette burn holes in them. I have pictures, if necessary. I slept in a sweatshirt outside of the covers, so I would not have to touch those sheets. Others in our party had no towels in their room, etc. Staff was courteous and helped when they could.

Rented a "non-smoking" room and it stunk with the overwhelming odor of stale smoke. Also, fire alarm activated at 3:00 am..It was a false alarm and no one at the motel knew how to turn it off. It sounded incessantly for slightly more than one hour. Finally, someone from the fire department turned it off. Altogether, a most miserable and unsatisfactory experience. Would never go back, and would advise anyone I know not to go there.
