There wasn't much to like. The place is under renovation so the whole place is a mess and the was no heat for the two nights we were there.

It was conveniently located.
There was no elevator or a ramp to enter from the parking lot. We hard to carry our bags up two flights of stairs.

This hotel is old and rundown. It needs a bulldozer. Eating in the dining room for dinner and seeing roaches crawl up the wall was not pleasant. The linens were so old and threadbare you couldn't even dry off with the towel. Can't get thru' to the desk when need to as one person can't do everything. Would not stay there again.

The lobby is very pretty, and it is within walking distance to Dutch Wonderland, which was great for the kids. There is a very cute playroom for young children as well.
Very very very dated. Carpet was coming up in the corner of the room. Dusty surfaces in the room. Hair dryer did not work. Pool needs to be re-done- concrete was cracking everywhere. Play sand area looked dirty. Balcony chairs were moldy and green, as was the floor on the balconies. Decor in the rooms is old. Breakfast buffet food was of low-quality, and service was very slow.

The air condition didn't work properly, when we tried to turn it down it began to arc it was an uncomfortable feeling to think electrical shorting may cause a fire. The bed was comfortable but we did find a dead roach in the bed the next morning, gross. The bathroom was clean but can use a big update, tub stained and sink area old and scratched up. Outside our door in the hallway we were sloshing thru water that smelled like sewer, we didn't see anything being done about it. All in all it was so very over priced, would not stay here again.

The facility is badly in need of renovation. There were cracks and peeled paint everywhere. The mini-golf course was an embarrassment.

I only stayed there because my daughter's dance competition was at the resort auditorium so it was purely for convenience.
The room was not very clean and some of our friends had maintenance issues and had to change rooms. There was a musty smell in the room and hallways and ceiling tiles in the halls were falling down. I think for what you pay per night, each room should at least have a refrigerator.
